Mr. Burdick was an entrepreneur, artist, and professional polo player. He was homeschooled by his parents, achieved a 2nd degree black belt in tae kwan do, earned his Eagle Scout with three palms, graduated from the University of Virginia, and was well respected for his strength of character, good nature, and sense of humor.He is predeceased by his mother, Jane C. Burdick in 2015. He is survived by his father, Todd Burdick and Todd’s girlfriend, Heidi Fincken of Middleburg, VA; twin brother, Tyler Burdick of Flint Hill, VA; Austin’s girlfriend Ali Stanley of Linden, VA; grandmother, Shirley Burdick of Caledonia, NY; two aunts, Lynn Burdick of Caledonia, NY and Amy Lakin and her husband Steve of Fort Smith, AR; three cousins, Johnston Burdick, Leigh Burdick, and Emma Lakin of Fort Smith, AR.A visitation is planned for Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton, VA. A Funeral Mass is to be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Peter Catholic Church 12762 Lee Highway Washington, VA with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Submitted photoSHOW ARTICLE -- LAKEWOOD — Matt Edwards, Tim Lutgen, Marcus Lutgen and Ralph Johnson fired a 20-under-par 50 to win the 26th annual Eppehimer Open held recently at Maplehurst Country Club.Chad Swan, Nick Pace, Shawn Clark and Keith Erickson fired a 14-under-par 56 and claimed second place via a matching of cards over Mark Mills, Fred Mills, Duane Mills and Ken Williams.Marcus Lutgen hit the longest drive while closest to the pin went to Scott Berry. The closest to the line was Duncan Oleshak and the award for the longest drive with the opposite hand went to Mark Mills.The event helped to raise money for Youth Missions.
